This year seems to be the year when there will be light at the end of the climate crisis tunnel.

Luz al final del tunel
Parece ser que este año que empieza se vislumbra luz al final del túnel de la crisis climática.

Greetings Xavier, thank you for your comment on my photo from Alameda, California. I don’t have time to do much investigating these days, but I hope to return to it someday. Your photo above is really striking. It looks apocalyptic, in apparent contrast with the cautious optimism of your title.
Greetings, Brad. But do you have time for skiyng? I hope so. Yes, you’re right: apocaiyptic. Cautious optimism?. Perhaps cynical. Not so correct, but…
There’s a field behind my house where I like to ski. However, this week the temperatures are very cold (last night it was -12 F / -24 C). Today the temperature should rise to about 16 F / -9 C, but that’s probably still too cold for me. Do you ski there in Germany?
Too cold! Do zou live in the mountains? I used to ski when I lived in Spain. The last time I skied was in the 90 s. Now I like to hike.
The mountains aren’t far away, but I live in a river valley, so the terrain is relatively flat. The last time I went downhill skiing was probably in 2004. I also prefer hiking, but it’s harder to do in the winter with snow on the ground. Winter can be a challenge!
