It is becoming increasingly difficult to go on excursions, enjoy nature and try to capture the beauty of the natural world in photographs. One cannot help but feel overcome by a deep sadness at the grave threat looming over the Earth.

There was a time when novels were published and films were made in which planet Earth was threatened by extraterrestrial beings from distant galaxies. These novels and films belonged to the so-called science fiction genre.

Today we are threatened by the techno-militarism of our own species. New landscapes will spread across the face of the Earth.

Cada vez resulta más difícil irse de excursión, disfrutar de la naturaleza e intentar plasmar en unas imágenes, la belleza del mundo natural. Uno no puede evitar sentirse embargado por una profunda tristeza ante la gran amenaza que se cierne sobre la Tierra.

Hubo una época en la que se publicaban novelas y se hacían películas en las que el planeta Tierra era amenzado por seres extraterrestres, provenientes de lejanas galaxias. Novelas y películas pertencían al denominado género de la ciencia-ficción.

Hoy estamos amenazados por el tecno-belicismo de nuestra propia especie. Nuevos paisajes se iran extendiendo por la faz de la Tierra.
